Dongjiu Expressway is an important part of "Hengqi" (Nanjing-Jiujiang Highway) in the highway network planning of "Four Vertical and Eight Horizontal Expressway".The Dongjiu Expressway starts from the south bank of the Wangdong Yangtze River Bridge and ends with Pengze section of Jiangxi Pengze-Hukou Expressway under construction. The line was completed and opened to traffic in December 2015, with a total mileage of about 11 kilometers.The whole line is built according to the standard of four-lane expressway, and the driving speed is 100 km/h.After the Dongjiu Expressway is opened to traffic, it will connect the Anjing-Yanjiang and Anjing-Huangqi expressways, further shortening the space-time distance between the western and central provinces of our province and the Yangtze River Delta region.
