Hefei Xinqiao International Airport Expressway is a typical demonstration project of comprehensive transportation of Anhui Provincial Department of Transport. With a total length of 17.6 kilometers and an investment of 1.209 billion yuan, it was officially started construction on March 29, 2010 and completed in May, 2013. It has been put into operation at the same time with Xinqiao International Airport.Xinqiao International Airport Expressway starts from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, runs through Dusong Ying to Nangang and connects with Heluye First Class Highway. The starting point and finishing point of the expressway are adopted the standard of urban express lane, and the rest of the expressway is planned to be constructed according to the standard of six-lane expressway.
