Anhui section of Liuwu Expressway

The Anhui section of Liuwu Expressway passes through the Dabie Mountains in the west of Anhui. It is an important part of Shanghai-Hanrong Line, which is newly planned by the state. It is a major traffic corridor connecting the eastern China with the central and western regions.The total length is 91 kilometers, starting from dagudian of huoqiu county, joining Liuye expressway, passing through five towns of meishan, huaishuwan, gubei, nanxi and zhuzhu yuan in jinzhai county from northeast to southwest, and ending at changling pass at the junction of anhui and hubei provinces.The construction of Liuwu Expressway began in October 2005 and was opened to traffic on December 28, 2009.
