Xuanguang Expressway, with a total length of about 90 kilometers, starts from Shuangqiao, Xuanzhou, Anhui Province, and ends near the boundary of Guangde, Anhui Province. It is an important transportation road connecting the coastal provinces, the central inland areas and the western border areas. Among them, about 67 km of the Xuanzhou to Guangde section of the Xuanguang Expressway was completed and opened to traffic in September 1997, 17 km of the South Ring section was completed and opened to traffic in July 2001, and 13 km of the Guangci section was completed and opened to traffic in July 2004.
